ELAINE BROADIS 

ELAINE BROADIS of Moose Jaw passed away peacefully Thursday, September 4, 2008 at the age of 84 years.  Elaine loved to cook, take care of children, listen to music and to walk.  Predeceased by her husband, Walter, sister, Marion; and brothers: Gordon and Dwayne, Elaine will be sadly missed by her sons: Ken (Mildred), Keith and Richard (Brenda), daughter, Sharon (Allan); grandchildren: Dionne, Andrea, Justin and Chelsea; great-grandchildren: Tamara and Tyson.  Three brothers: Darrel (Delois), Calvin (Edna) and Lyle (Lois); nine sisters: Joyce, Donna, Candace (Ron), Mavis (Bruce), Doreen (Duane), Carolle (Ray), Gladys, Beverly (Al), Patricia, as well as many nieces and nephews.  The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Chapel, 106 Athabasca St. E, Moose Jaw. Jim Atcheson will Officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.  Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday evening 7-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.  For those so wishing, memorial donations may be made to the Saskatchewan Heart & Stroke Foundation, 2360 – 2nd Ave., Regina, S4R 1A6 or to the Alzheimer Association, #301 – 2550 12th Ave., Regina, S4P 3X1.  The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Capilano Court, Extendicare, and Dr. Dautremont for the care Elaine received.  In living memory of Elaine, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
