KEN CRAWFORD

Mr. Ken Crawford (Dyck) passed away on August 20, 2008. Ken was born in Moose Jaw and grew up in the Caron area.  He worked as a heavy equipment operator at a potash mine, as an ambulance driver, and as a taxi driver.  Ken also worked at Raider Industries and Home Hardware.  He was liked by everyone he knew and worked with, being known for his humor and his ability to make people laugh. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Arlene Hoffman, daughter Haley, sons Craig and Cory, and sister Lynda (Dale).  Ken is predeceased by his parents Abe and Trudi Dyck and brother Calvin.  During the past year, while he was battling cancer, Ken spent lots of time with his daughter.  She says it all by saying, “Dad rocks!”.  A Memorial Service will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Tuesday August 26, 2008 at 1:30 pm. Reverend Lewis Booth will officiate. In living memory of Ken, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
