Blanc - Moose Jaw, SK: Brenda and Diane, I was saddened to hear
of the passing of your Mom. Beryl was a lovely lady. I remember going
over to your place with my folks (Syd & Vi) when I was little, your
Mom always had a smile on her face and was great fun. She will be
remembered and missed by many in Moose Jaw and in Weslaco. I hope that
knowing that we are thinking of you brings you comfort as you grieve the
loss of your Mom. I will hug someone and think of Beryl and you both
when I do.

She worked for awhile in the office at Canaday's apparel Ltd when I
worked there in the 60's and after we moved to Ontario I often ran in to
her when we were in Moose Jaw. I have a lot of fond memories of

certainly a people's person. She always took the time to say
'hello' and chat with our kids when they were visiting at Grandma Reid's

Victoria, BC: Dear Brenda and Diane. My happy memories of your
Mom and you go back a long way to happy Christmases on Redland in the
1950s and 1960s. She always seemed to me to be a very special mother and
friend. She got me one of my first summer jobs doing filing at Canaday's
Apparel so I will preserve her memory in many ways. I am sorry for your

Toronto,ON: Diane and Brenda, I am sorry to learn of Beryl's
passing. She was such an important part our my early memories of Moose
Jaw and spending family times with all of you. You were all so lucky to
have an extended family which we didn't in Moose Jaw and we were lucky
to join in. I think of smiles, jellied salads and dishes. Of course I
remember how much she enjoyed Buffalo Lake and just sitting enjoying the
beauty. We shall all miss her in our own ways. Your write up was very
sweet and hugging someone often will be easily done. Love them while we

ago. She was so kind to me, I've never forgotten that. She will
certainly be missed by many. Something else you might like to know is
that your dad helped at my dad's farm on his days off during harvest.

your mom, and always wished that we could have lived closer. I have
pretty early memories of her coming to Calgary, and how that always
meant that we could make pie! And the pies were always amazing - Beryl
made the best crust. Beryl always struck me as an incredibly strong,
caring woman. I miss her. Sending you both hugs.

sorry to hear about your mom. She was such a nice lady, I never saw her
without a smile. I know my dad always enjoyed visiting with her and Mrs.
Gropp at the lake. When cutting the grass, he always mowed a path, so
that it was easier for her to get down to Gropp's cabin. I know she's
left you with many memories to cherish.

sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She called me about a year or
so ago, when she was visiting a cousin just south of Courtenay.....we
had a great chat. I too have many memories of years gone
by......your dad apparently lived at my parents home, before he and
Beryl were married. There were many good times with them visiting
my parents........many laughs, I remember. Take care of each

families; I will miss Beryl very much. I met Beryl when she was 6 and I
was 8 - we played together, went to school together and kept in touch
and visited frequently all these years. I have many wonderful memories.
