VINA BAILEY 

1912 - 2010

The family of Vina Bailey announces her passing on March 31, 2010 at Providence Place. Vina is survived by her children Bill and Evva Bailey, Barb and Bert Hunt, and Art and Bonnie Dumont. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Vina’s life will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel, on Wednesday April 7, 2010 at 1:30 p.m.  Della Ferguson will be the Celebrant. Memorialization will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. In living memory of Vina, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.

I got to know her and her feisty spirit and over the years, I enjoyed many good times with her and hearing her stories about all of her family. I had lost track of you after you went to Assiniboia, but am happy to read you made it to Providence Place after all. Thank you for teaching me the art of scrapbooking. I will never forget you. Heather Tanzell - Moose Jaw, SK: Last Sept My mom (Jean Evans) and I had a good visit with your mom (my great aunt). Few years before she helped me with family history and gave me pics of my relatives which was greatly appreciated. Vina was a great person.
