Margaret
Drysdale passed
away peacefully at Pioneers Lodge, Moose Jaw
on July 7, 2010 at the age of 90 years.
Margaret was born in the Mortlach district in 1920.
She attended Remount
School
until grade eight, when she stayed home to help out on the family
farm.
She married Floyd Drysdale in 1977 and they resided in Regina.
They loved to travel and especially enjoyed trips to
Scotland
and the United States.
Margaret moved to Moose Jaw
after Floyd’s passing in 1998.
She is also predeceased by her parents, and by her brother
David Duncan.
Margaret is survived by her brothers, Gordon (Geri) Duncan
and Bruce (Leona) Duncan; sister Helen (Emil) Glass; sisters-in-law
Mary Duncan, and Connie (John) Silzer; and many nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service will be held at W.J.Jones & Son
Chapel on Saturday July 10, 2010 at 1:30 pm.
Pastors Larry and Donna Gerow will officiate.
Interment will follow at Rosedale
Cemetery.
Memorials to the Salvation Army, 175 First Ave.N.E., Moose Jaw,
S6H 0Y9, would be appreciated. In living memory of Margaret, a tree
will be planted in Besant
Park
by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
