Desiree Dyck -  New Westminster BC: Harley, my dad, quietly passed away in his sleep at his home in Saskatchewan on March 10 2010. This was exactly how he wanted it and he is in a good place now...

His sister, Flo, tirelessly looked after her younger brother through his last years. A big hug for you Auntie Flo!

Harleys service was Tuesday March 23rd 4 PM to 6 PM. Seven Oaks Alliance Church (across from Seven Oaks Mall) 2575 Gladwin Road Abbotsford BC

The Navy committed Harleys ashes to sea in Victoria just outside where he was stationed in Esquimalt in early to mid late June 2010.  Please see the facebook group setup for him for any further information or updates.

Carole - Red Deer AB:  Rest in peace Harley.  Over the years you've had to fight the 'good fight' following your car accident, you recovered from a massive stroke and you fought so hard to live with cancer, but it won.  I'll always miss you -- the phone calls, the tall tales and so on and only hope if and when my time comes I can fight as hard as you have.  You've been the best brother and I love you! Only you will know if you have rejoined Mom, Dad, Delmar, Charlotte and all those who've gone before you.

Dale Dyck -  Saskatoon, SK: A tree? I hope it is an Oak Tree, to represent his attitude during life. Oak trees are solid and strong, and do not bend with the wind.

Desiree Dyck - New Westminster BC: The ashes of Harley Dyck were committed to the deep from HMCS WHITEHORSE on June 8th 2010 at 15:39 hours. 48 degrees 21.495'N and 123 degrees 22.207'W
(from the south end of Beacon Hill Park, look straight out over the water to the horizon and that's where he is)
