Jean
passed away in
New Hope
Nursing home in Stoughton,
Sask.
April 1, 2010 at the age of 98. She was born in Lumsden, Sask, and
lived in the Kelstern area most of her life, where they raised
their family, retired and moved to Saskatoon, then Moose Jaw,
finally Estevan after Dad passed away. She had a good long,
memorable life, always had a smile on her face. Jean loved to play
cards, at which she was pretty sharp. She'll be lovingly remembered
by her children, Darwin (Marcia) Toronto, ON; Dorothy Fuchs,
North Portal, SK; Thelma (Nels) Jensen, Hinton, AB; nine
grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and five
great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Allan in 1992,
son-in-law, George Fuchs in 2002, daughter, Elaine McNaughton in
2004, and all of her siblings. All
of the family would like to thank the staff at New Hope, for taking such good care of our Mother. A
Graveside Committal Service will be held Saturday, July 17, 2010 at
11a.m. at Sunset Cemetery.
A Memorial Tea will follow at the W. J. Jones & Son
Family Centre, 262 Athabasca St. E. If friends so
wish, they can make a donation to their favorite charity, in
Jean’s name.
In living memory of Jean, a tree will be planted in Besant
Park
by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
