YVONNE FONTAINE

Yvonne Jacqueline Fontaine of Moose Jaw, SK passed away peacefully on May 8, 2010 at the age of 80 years. Yvonne was born in Quebec however she moved to Moose Jaw in 1980 with her brother Fred Savoie where she built her life of three generations. Yvonne took great pride in not only her role as an independent housekeeper but also as an integral part with First Choice Cleaners. Yvonne was a social butterfly who enjoyed to play bingo, crib and sip on a nice cold biere. Her pride and joy was spending time not only with her grandchildren but her great-grandchildren as well. She will be remembered for her sense of humour and her amazing smile. Yvonne will be fondly missed by her children Richard (Valerie) Savoie, Denise (Mike) Entz, Cecile (Kerry) Phillips, Phil (Marsha) Fontaine, 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Yvonne is predeceased by her parents, one brother Joe; two sisters, Lucy and Lizane; and two granddaughters Samantha and Crystal. A Funeral Service will be held at W. J. Jones & Son Chapel on Thursday May 13, 2010 at 1.30 pm.  Della Ferguson will officiate. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday May 12 from 8:00 to 9:00 pm at W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.  For those so wishing memorial donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 150 Albert St., Regina , Sk. S4R 2N2 would be appreciated.  In living memory of Yvonne, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
