MAYNARD E. GRAY

MR. MAYNARD GRAY of Moose Jaw passed away Monday, March 15, 2010.  He was born May 15,1921 in Sylvania to Joshua and Josephine Gray. Maynard married Beverly Busby September 30, 1950. He worked for Patterson Motors for thirty-eight years and was a member of  St. Andrew’s United Church AOTS. Predeceased by his parents, brothers: Gordon, Alan, Irvin,  Stanley and his sister, Myrtle, Maynard is survived by his wife, Beverly, daughter Sharon (Daryl), sons: Gord (Melissa) and Blair (Marilyn); grandchildren: Jeff  (Nicole), Jodi (Jeff), Meghan, Caitlyn, Allyson, Michelle (Kelly), Jesse and Carly (Kyle); great-grandchildren: Hanna, Layne, Jax and two sisters: Mona and Eleanor. In keeping with Maynard’s request, a private family service will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank the staff at Moose Jaw Union Hospital and Extendicare Nursing Home during his short stay. Memorial donations may be made to the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency, 204-3775 Pasqua St., Regina, S4S 9Z9. In living memory of Maynard, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
