BEATRICE KABANUK

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Beatrice Kabanuk. Beatrice passed away peacefully April 8, 2010 at 94 years old. Our world was blessed March 2, 1916, when Beatrice Grange entered it.  She spent her early years on the family farm in Viceroy, Sk with her parents, auntie and three brothers. She married Joe Kabanuk in 1942, they farmed near Viceroy and also lived in Moose Jaw.  Beatrice mothered 6 healthy children, who were her pride and joy.  Her family always came first and there was nothing more important to her than them. When Beatrice wasn’t busy caring for her family, she would busy herself with her passions in life; her gardens, flowers, baking the most delicious bread and enjoying the simple things in life.  She had the kindest heart for all animals, wildlife and was always mesmerized by the beauty of our earth.  She would give you the world and would ask for nothing in return.  She will be greeted in heaven by her parents, two brothers and her beloved auntie. Beatrice will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 67 years, Joe Kabanuk; and their children Lloyd, Joyce, Robert (Loreen), Donald (Diane), Glen (Shirley) Joan (Dwain), her brother Norman (Lena), sister-in-law, Tillie and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  In keeping with Beatrice’s request, a private family service will be held.  Interment will take place at Sunset Cemetery.  In living memory of Beatrice, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
